Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Program in Cleveland, OH

At Shaker Clinic, we strive to remain a leader in creating and delivering distinct, effective mental health disease management through our strong partnerships with physicians and other clinical professionals. It is our mission to set ourselves apart from other mental health treatment centers by offering individualized, superior care that improves the quality of life for our patients, while also offering a reliable resource for the community.

One of the ways in which we are proud to be able to stand out is through our community psychiatric supportive treatment (CPST) service. This program provides an array of services that are delivered by community-based professionals and are designed to address the individualized mental health needs of each patient seen.

The intent of the community psychiatric supportive treatment service is to provide specific, measurable, and individualized services to every patient. The focus of the CPST program is on the individual’s ability to succeed within his or her community while learning how to identify and access additional outside services that may be needed or requested. Additionally, the community psychiatric supportive treatment service is designed to help patients show improvement in their work setting, in their home lives, in their interpersonal relationships, in their family interactions, and by integrating back into, and making contributions within, their communities.

One major component of our CPST service is our intensive home-based services (IHBT). The IHBT services afford those in our community a number of different therapeutic options that are designed to provide the necessary services and support networks that enable a patient with serious emotional disturbances to live and function successfully in the most normal, least restrictive environment possible.

Whatever your needs may be, the caring and compassionate staff at Shaker Clinic will help you find the program that will best meet those needs and address all of your concerns. Our community psychiatric supportive treatment program may be able to help you find the relief you need from the struggles you are facing by remaining in the environment where you are most comfortable.
