Zyama Goldman, MD

Zyama Goldman, MD, specializes in the field of psychiatry and is an internationally recognized expert in geriatrics. He received his medical degree from the Institute of Pediatrics Medical School, USSR. His post-graduate training included a residency in psychiatry at Hadassah Hospital, Eitanim Mental Hospital and Ezrat Nashin Mental Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel; advanced studies in psycho geriatrics at the University of Nottingham Medical School, England; and a clinical and research fellowship at Baycrest Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Goldman has served in numerous positions including Medical Director at Massillon Psychiatric Center and Chief of Psychiatric Service at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. His teaching experience includes a current post as Clinical Assistant Professor at Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine and prior teaching roles at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and Tel Giborim Government Hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel. In addition to providing direct patient care, Dr. Goldman also serves as Medical Director for Shaker Clinic.

Zinaida Lebedeva, MD
Psychiatrist

Zinaida Lebedeva, MD, carries a specialty in psychiatry and neurology and she is well known for her extensive research in the field of psychopharmacology and Alzheimer’s Disease. Her research, which has been performed at two major hospitals in the Cleveland area, has brought forth much recognition. Due to her dedication in this area, she received the Janssen Psychiatry Award of Excellence

Suzana DeCastro Figueira, LPCC, NCC
Clinical Therapist

Suzana DeCastro Figueira, LPCC, NCC joins the Shaker Clinic as Clinical Director. She earned her master’s degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University. Her undergraduate degree in Law was earned from Universidad de Fortaleza in Ceara, Brazil. Suzana is licensed in the State of Ohio as both a Professional Clinical Counselor and National Certified Counselor. Prior to joining the Shaker Clinic, she worked at Recovery Resources, Berea Children’s Home & Family Services, and Psychological & Behavioral Consultants.
